The Reaux Family

Jonathan and Megan Reaux, along with their three children, have been missionaries for many years, and they have seen many people come to Christ. They live in Maurice, Louisiana.

In February of 2018, Jonathan traveled to Nepal where he attended a leadership conference for 30 church leaders.  The goal is to see these 30 church planters receive financial support for these growing churches and small businesses (such as goat farming) to help sustain themselves.

In July of 2018, Megan traveled to Senegal, Africa to an orphanage that is home to 21 children.  The current home is in a rented building.  She assisted in setting up a child sponsorship program, resulting in 15 of the 21 children currently sponsored.  These orphans receive room and board, food, medical care, and discipleship training.  The goal is to purchase property and build a home to house even more children, and to build a chicken farm and other self-sustaining operations on site.

In November of 2018, Jonathan traveled to Amman to kick off a new project to help the children in the middle east cope with extreme traumas brought about by wars.  These young victims suffer from PTSD and need psychological healing.  This project consists of a combination of books and animated episodes that will be used in schools, refugee camps, churches, and in homes.

2018 was great, and 2019 is gearing up to be even better!  We will be traveling to Jordan as a family at the end of February 2019, where we will continue working with producers of the Trauma Healing Project.  Later this year we will be heading back to Senegal, Africa.

Thank youfor your past support of our ministry.  To keep projects alive and to spread God’s word, your ongoing financial support would be appreciated.  Please keep our family in your prayers whenever you think of us.  Pray for safety in our travels and wisdom in the creation of these projects.  God bless you!

The Brasseaux Family

The Brasseaux family was called by God to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of the Caylloma/Colca Canyon region of Peru.  Buddy, Kim, and their daughter live in Chivay, Peru.

We believe God’s specific mandate to us is to bring unity or oneness to the people of this region of Peru, reconciling them to the Father and making disciples.  We are giving our lives fully to the process of discipleship by attaching ourselves to people and walking with them on a very personal level.  Our goal is to make local disciples, leaders, and pastors, so they can tend to the sheep in their communities.  This process begins with one life, one family, and one nation at a time!

The spiritual powers over this region will work to destroy the plans of God. We have been sent to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and an inheritance (Acts 26:18)byteaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer (Acts 2:42-46). We intend to fight the good fight with patient endurance never backing up, shutting up, or giving up, nor will we compromise the Word of God or His mission in this region.

Please prayerfully consider supporting our family and efforts here in Peru.  We look forward to updating our progress throughout the year.  Always remember, “I need my brothers and my brothers need me.”  For more information, please visit us at www.Echad2peru.com.
